The Hibernian Girl’s High School Team play in the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union which is the Local Area Union of the Mid-Atlantic Territorial Union of the United States Rugby Union.  The Hibernian Girl’s High School Team was established in the spring of 2003, the EPRU at that time had more than twenty girl’s sides with two divisions.  In the Spring of 2013 the EPRU relinquished its control of youth rugby and turned it over to Rugby PA, a state based governing body, which now has sixteen sides in three state wide divisions.  The Hibernian Banshees have always played a completive brand of rugby throughout their history.

The original high school side was composed of primarily students from Neshaminy and Pennsbury High Schools.  After that inaugural season the Banshees expanded to have students from all the major high schools in Lower Bucks County on their squad:  Neshaminy, Pennsbury, Council Rock, Truman, Bensalem, Conwell/Egan, Morrisville, Bristol Borough, and Holly Ghost Prep. NJ school districts included Hamilton, Trenton, and Princeton.
